As a myeloma patient, it is extremely distressing to me to know that cancer patients, many with myeloma, are travelling overseas at huge cost for CAR T-cell therapy, or they can't access it and run out of treatment options. I'm worried that neither option is a good one for my future. 

Malaghan Institute is trying to change that and they need our support.  

I’m taking on this challenge because the work Malaghan do is amazing and no one should have to leave Aotearoa for life-changing cancer care. Every kilometre I complete and every dollar I raise will support the Malaghan Institute’s ENABLE-2 trial - a critical step toward making CAR T-cell therapy available in New Zealand’s public health system, close to home and whānau.
