Go the Distance is about choosing a distance challenge that feels meaningful to you - big or small, competitive or personal.

Sign up, pick a distance goal and complete it your way throughout April - walking, running, cycling, swimming or mixing it up - while raising funds to help bring life-saving CAR T-cell therapy closer to home.

The goal is simple: choose your distance, move during April, and fundraise as you go.

100km

Everyday movement

Perfect if you want something achievable alongside everyday life.

Reach 100km by walking, swimming, running, cycling - or combining them.


You could:

  • Walk 3–4km a day
  • Swim a few laps after work
  • Add extra kilometres to school runs or dog walks
  • Mix walking, swimming and short runs across the month

200km

Build momentum

Do you want to challenge yourself a bit further?

200km is ideal if you already enjoy being active and want a challenge that pushes you beyond your comfort zone.


You could:

  • Run or walk longer routes on weekends
  • Cycle to work
  • Combine running, cycling and swimming
  • Set weekly distance goals and level them up as you go

500km

The ultimate challenge

A bold challenge for people who love to move!

 
500km might mean long runs, big rides, ocean swims - or a mix of everything.


You could:

  • Train for an event while fundraising
  • Take on long weekend adventures
  • Set ambitious weekly targets
  • Combine multiple activities to reach your goal

Connect your fitness app and count your distance

Make your tally count and connect your fitness app to count your kilometres and help us tally the total distance we can go together! Make it easier to track your movement by connecting your fitness app or device (like Strava, Map my Fitness or Garmin). Your kilometres will automatically update on your page — and keep your supporters cheering you on. If you don't have a fitness tracker, no worries, you will also be able to log these manually on your fundraiser dashboard.
