We're going the distance this April to help bring life-changing CAR T-cell therapy home to New Zealand.

At GKC, we’re taking part in Go the Distance to support the Malaghan Institute and their work in CAR-T cell therapy research.

This cause is a personal one for our team. Over the past year, we’ve had people in and around our team impacted by blood cancers and related conditions, which has given us a real appreciation for how important ongoing research and future treatment options are.

CAR-T therapy is one of the most promising developments in this space. At the moment, many New Zealanders need to travel overseas to access it, often at significant cost. The Malaghan Institute is working to change that by bringing this treatment to Aotearoa.

We’re getting behind this as a team to support that work, and to help ensure more Kiwis have access to world-class treatment options here at home in the future.

As a company, GKC is proud to be backing our team with an initial donation, and we’ll be contributing further as our team takes part.
