I'm going the distance this April to help bring life-saving CAR T-cell therapy home to New Zealand.
Three years ago, we lost Mum and Nana to cancer — just 12 weeks after her diagnosis. Like so many families, ours has been deeply touched by cancer.
Right now, Kiwis with aggressive blood cancers often have to travel overseas and pay huge costs to access CAR T-cell therapy. That shouldn’t be the case.
I’m taking on this challenge to help change that. Every kilometre and every dollar raised will support the Malaghan Institute’s ENABLE-2 trial, bringing CAR T-cell therapy closer to home.
