I'm going the distance this April to help bring life-changing CAR T-cell therapy home to New Zealand.
Right now, many Kiwis with aggressive blood cancers have to travel thousands of kilometres overseas and pay enormous costs to access CAR T treatment.
I’m taking on this challenge because no one should have to leave Aotearoa for life-changing cancer care. Every kilometre I complete and every dollar I raise will support the Malaghan Institute’s ENABLE-2 trial - a critical step toward making CAR T-cell therapy available in New Zealand’s public health system, close to home and whānau.
Please support my challenge if you can. Together, we can help bring this treatment home.

Wednesday 11th MarI am officially buzzing! ✨
I don’t start the official kilometers for my April challenge for a few weeks yet, but the support crew is already out in force. I’ve just seen that we’ve already raised $296—which is just incredible.
A massive thank you to my donors who have jumped in so early to support the Malaghan Institute. It is such a boost to have this kind of backing before I even hit the trails.
The countdown to the Okuru River and the Wilderness Trail is well and truly on. April is looking like a big one! 🏔️🚲

Thanks support crew!
Monday 9th MarI don't start the official KMs until April 1st, but the support crew is already out in force!
A massive, heartfelt thank you to my gorgeous friend Lynne and my anonymous donor for your incredibly generous kicks-to-the-pedals. Between your donations and my own start, we’ve already raised $162—that’s over halfway to my $300 goal before I’ve even put my helmet on!
