I'm going the distance this April to help bring life-changing CAR T-cell therapy home to New Zealand.
Right now, many Kiwis with aggressive blood cancers have to travel thousands of kilometres overseas and pay enormous costs to access CAR T treatment.
I’m taking on this challenge because no one should have to leave Aotearoa for life-changing cancer care. Every kilometre I complete and every dollar I raise will support the Malaghan Institute’s ENABLE-2 trial - a critical step toward making CAR T-cell therapy available in New Zealand’s public health system, close to home and whānau.

Sunday 5th Apr 66km today in sweltering temperatures here in Vietnam!True to form I fell off on the off road section 🤣

Wednesday 1st Apr I’m feeling pretty excited this morning, sitting at the airport waiting for our flight. We have a couple of nights in Hong Kong, then on to Saigon where our cycle tour begins on April 5th!

Tuesday 10th Mar At the moment I’m trying to get cycle fit for the amazing tour we are going to do in Vietnam.
