I'm going the distance this April to help bring life-changing CAR T-cell therapy home to New Zealand.
Right now, many Kiwis with aggressive blood cancers must travel thousands of kilometres overseas at enormous personal cost to access CAR T-cell cancer treatment.
I work on this challenge every day in the communications team at the Malaghan. We ask people to step up and support this work. Now it’s my turn.
I’m taking on this distance challenge because no one should have to leave Aotearoa for cancer treatments that could save their life.
Every kilometre I complete and every dollar I raise will support the Malaghan’s ENABLE-2 trial — a critical step toward making CAR T-cell therapy available in New Zealand’s public health system, close to home and whānau.

Go girl. This is above and beyond. Xx
