Italian florists living and working in New Zealand are joining forces to support the Malaghan Institute of Medical Research.Far from their home country, these florists have built new lives in New Zealand while keeping their Italian roots and traditions close. Their work is naturally connected with people, creativity and care, and they are now bringing that same spirit to a cause that reaches far beyond the floral industry.
The Malaghan Institute conducts medical research aimed at understanding and treating serious diseases, with research spanning areas such as cancer, infectious diseases, allergies and immune disorders. Supporting this work means helping researchers turn scientific discoveries into better health outcomes for future generations.
For the Italian florists taking part, this fundraiser is also a way of giving something back to the country that has become their home. Different stories, different journeys and a shared profession come together in one collective effort.
